This league exists for a few main reasons; the biggest being for the love of the sport! The coaching team here believes that every child should have the opportunity to bowl, and to have fun doing it. Our coaches are certified through the USBC, and all volunteers are part of the Registered Volunteer Program which is regulated by the USBC.

Our coaches have been working with youth bowlers for many years. Some of our coaches were actually youth bowlers, trained by previous coaches of this same league! When you join our league, you're not just joining a great sport, you're gaining friends and family.

About Us

Other projects we're working on...

Prior to the season beginning, Coach William met with many big organizations in an attempt to expand the league's reach and introduce the sport to new potential bowlers. He met with members of the USBC's main office, the IBC Youth directors and regional directors, and perhaps the biggest point of interest: The Boy Scouts of America.

"My goal is to build a program that exceeds the expectations of IBC Youth Development, and the USBC. Ultimately I would like to have 20th Century Youth known as a great program for any child to join and to have as many avenues to connect non-bowling youth to our sport and our sport to them. Perhaps my most ambitious project to date involves the Boys Scouts of America; where I am working with the Cascade Pacific Council director to hopefully build a multi-stage program which allows current Scouts seeking to earn Sports and Athletics merits to do so without an obligation to be a league bowler, while still leaving the opportunity and potential for Scouts to join league and to have that extra incentive to do their best, earn merits and various rewards, and follow their code of action." -- Coach William

The BSA partnership program is still in the works, but if everything can be ironed out to benefit both the BSA and 20th Century Youth, we may be able to create a partnership with this amazing national group and they may be able to use the same structure to reach out to other centers to set up similar programs. This on-going project should have details ironed out by the 2015-16 season if all the pieces fall into place.

Parents can look forward to the smiles on their child's face as they throw their first frame. As their child throws their first strikes and spares, you'll see the look of accomplishment. Parents get to watch their child build lasting relationships with kids interested in the same things they are.

"As a parent of a young bowler, I can tell you this is an experience that will make you and your child feel wonderful. My son is hooked on bowling now." - Coach William
