This league runs on a simple pairs (2-person team) style of bowling. One pair will compete against another pair for points; based on a 4-point system. Points are won as follows:
One (1) Point - Win Per Game
(3 total games = Up to 3 points)
One (1) Point - Win with higher series after three games
Teams will rotate every week until the end of the season. On the final week of the season, we will declare the league champion.
Structure
What Style Of Bowling Will This Be?
If you're familiar with league style bowling, you're probably aware that LEAGUE STYLE bowling means two teams share a pair of lanes and rotate between each frame. This league is a standard style league, meaning two teams will share lanes, but each team will bowl on the same lane for the duration of play. (Example: If your pair is listed on lane 34, you bowl all of your frames on lane 34.)
The reason for this style of bowling is simple: THIS IS A FUN LEAGUE. Also, with no seperate age divisions it is very difficult for bumper bowlers to compete against seasoned bowlers without bumpers. By playing on a single lane, parents of younger bowlers can work with their bowler on delivering a ball without hitting a bumper.
We offer a few options for payments involving the EARN-A-BALL program.
Option #1: DAY ONE PLAN
- Pay off the bowling ball portion of your fee. Pay
($45 if paid by Week 2; you save $5)
Options #2: HALF AND HALF PLAN
- Pay off the bowling ball cost in two payments
($25 on Week 1 - $20 on Week 2; you save $5)
Option #3: SLOW AND STEADY (No Longer Available)
- Pay $15/wk per team if in the EARN-A-BALL program
- Pay $10/wk per team if you OPT-OUT from the ball program
